– IEEE Quarter Tech Talk Table Series is a panel discussion featuring experts in various technology fields, providing insights on current trends, challenges, and innovations.

When and where will the event take place?
– The event is scheduled every quarter based on the Call for Hosts Nomination we receive i.e., at: https://bit.ly/CallForHost_IEEEQT3 

Who is eligible to attend the panel discussion?
– The panel discussion is open to undergrads/postgrads/research scholars, faculty, professionals, and anyone interested in the discussed technology topics.

Is there a registration fee for participants?
– No, participation is free of charge. However, we recommend registering in advance to secure your spot.

How can I register for the event?

Does IEEE QT3 belong to any IEEE OU?
– IEEE QT3 is a standalone event conducted by a group of IEEE Impact Creators & Young Professionals for the benefit of the student community. Every edition, IEEE OU changes as per the host-selection from the call for hosts application.

Who are the panelists for the discussion?
– Our panelists include industry experts, researchers, and professionals with extensive experience in the theme we focus on in every quarter edition. The full list of past panelists is available on our event website – https://ieeeqt3.org/speakers/ 

Will there be an opportunity for audience questions?
– Yes, we encourage active participation. There will be a separate ½ Hour Q&A session where attendees can pose questions to the panelists plus along with a 1:1 speed mentoring session before the closure of the Event.

How long is the event expected to last?
– The panel discussion is anticipated to last approximately 8 Hours (mostly 9 AM – 5 PM local-timezone)

Will the event be recorded or live-streamed for those unable to attend in person?
– No, it won’t be recorded or live-streamed. However, we will surely put the glimpses of each edition on IEEE.tv platform (https://ieeetv.ieee.org/) who is our marketing partner.

Are there any specific dress code requirements for attendees?
– The dress code is business casual. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably yet professionally.

Is the event open to sponsors or partners?

Will there be networking opportunities for attendees?
– Yes, there will be networking sessions before and after the panel discussion, allowing attendees to connect with panelists and fellow participants. Plus, we do have a separate 1 Hour slot shared for 1:1 speed mentoring.

Are there any specific networking sessions planned before or after the panel discussion?
– Yes, detailed networking schedules will be provided in the event program when releasing agenda for each edition on our website.

Do participants need to bring any specific devices or materials for the event?
– Participants are not required to bring specific devices.

What kind of technical setup will be available for the panelists and participants?
– We will have audio-visual equipment and presentation facilities for panelists. Participants will have access to microphones during the Q&A session.
